One of the Mariners’ Wembley heroes has moved into the managerial game.
Nathan Arnold, who scored the decisive third goal as the Mariners beat Forest Green Rovers in the 2016 National League Play Off Final, has been unveiled as the new manager of United Counties League Division One side Bourne Town.
The 33-year-old played for Lincoln City, Boston United and Altrincham following his release from Blundell Park in the summer of 2016, and now takes his first step into football management.
Writing on his Twitter page, the Wakes’ new boss said:
“I am proud to be given the opportunity to manage this historic football club. Thank you to the board and chairman for working tirelessly to help get this over the line and aligning with my ambitions. Letβs get going.”
