14 mins: The hosts fail to deal with a free kick and when the ball is returned into the box by Serge Makofo, it is met by Liam Hearn but the striker’s header is off target.

25 mins: Home stopper James Bittner comfortably collects a 25-yard free kick from Michael Coulson.

31 mins: Damian Spencer latches onto a poor defensive header but fails to trouble Bittner from ten yards.

33 mins: Chris Allen tests James McKeown with a speculative long-range effort. The Town ‘keeper is equal to the task.

43 mins: GOAL! Makofo latches onto a short back pass from Jared Hodgkiss and manages to skip away from Bittner. His shot is blocked on the line but Coulson is on hand to hammer the rebound into the top left-hand corner.

44 mins: Spencer is inches away from doubling Town’s advantage when he leaps highest to meet Frankie Artus’ corner.

55 mins: Dangerman Reece Styche gets free on the right for the home side but his cross-cum-shot is diverted away by McKeown’s foot.

72 mins: Styche is fouled on the edge of the area by Shaun Pearson, who picks up a booking, but the free kick is hammered wide by Chris Stokes.

88 mins: Another free kick on the edge of the area for a foul on Styche, this time by substitute Rob Eagle, is awarded. James Rowe steps up but the wall does its job and the ball is cleared.
