In his latest updates to the press, Grimsby Town boss Ian Holloway hinted that some of his younger players could be leaving Blundell Park on loan.
The Town manager is keen for his less-senior players to get game time, especially with the club being forced into two weeks of inactivity due to Jock Curran’s positive COVID-19 test.
Sources close to one of the players suggest that defender Joey Hope and striker Alhagi Touray Sisay will be departing Blundell Park later today for an initial one-month loan deal at Cleethorpes Town.
Hope made an appearance during last month’s EFL Trophy tie against Harrogate Town and has previously been linked with Everton.
Sisay arrived at Blundell Park in the summer from Aberystwyth, but has yet to make his bow in a Mariners’ shirt.
